With most of our time spent in front of the computer for games, school, or homework, we have learned a lot about how to operate a computer. However, I bet that there are many computer tricks and hacks that you may not have known about.

  1. Almost every person who knows how to use a computer watches YouTube; about 80 percent of internet users have their own YouTube account. However, many people do not own more than 1 screen. If you are one of these people, try double right-clicking on a video that you are watching. In this drop-down menu, click “picture in picture”. This will cause a floating window to appear with your video in it.
  2. Now, there are many keyboard shortcuts. There’s no use memorizing all of them, as you probably won’t use most of them. The Ctrl ones include:

       Ctrl+

  1. C: copy
  2. V: paste
  3. A: select all
  4. Z: undo
  5. Y: redo
  6. F: find on page
  7. Shift T: reopen recently closed tab
  1.   The last computer trick is to use Rainmeter. Rainmeter is one of the most popular software for Windows OS. It displays customizable skins such as the one above. Skins range from Ironman’s Jarvis to simple and elegant forest designs. There are thousands of skins to choose from, and at least one that fits your taste and style.

Computers are made to make our lives easier and more enjoyable. With these computer tricks, your life on the computer will be even easier.
