Have you noticed those yellow slips being given by your teachers? Those are Golden Eagle Awards. Golden Eagle awards are now being given out to Cope Eagles who have followed the Cope Creed or are kind to others. A teacher might hand out a Golden Eagle Award to a student who has assisted another student in need.
The awards are to be turned in at the office in the jar on Ms. Marie’s desk, and winners will be randomly chosen every sixth day over the intercom. These winners will receive a prize from the office. These prizes include movie tickets, front-of-the-line passes, gift cards for different places including Farmer Boys, Chick-fil-A, and arguably the best prize of all, being driven around in the security cart all day. Stay golden, and you might get a Golden Eagle Award.
