As if the NFL wasn’t crazy enough, yet another bizarre story comes out. Bills cornerback Vontae Davis retired at halftime Sunday, during the Bill’s game against the Chargers. Immediately, social media took action. Many people mistook him for quitting because he disliked the team’s situation and how the team could not win. But turns out, it was for a completely different reason. On Monday, Davis released a statement on his retirement saying “reality hit me hard”. What he means by reality is he did not realize how his body was not ready, and he could not go on anymore. Overall, this was one of the craziest things to happen in the NFL, and with still 14 weeks left in the season, what else could happen?
