Halloween is coming up and if you ask me the area around Redlands is a goldmine for good Halloween candy. If you’re planning on going trick-or-treating this year I’ve got the best places for you to go. One greatly known place around Redlands to go searching for Halloween is Olive Avenue. Many families go out for Halloween together on Olive Avenue to trick-or treat. The street is closed off just so people can trick-or-treat. Most of the houses will have their lights on and are willing to give out candy, but the most you’ll probably get is a large tootsie-pop. One problem with trick-or-treating on Olive Avenue is that there are many people and you have to wait in long lines just to get a small piece of candy. But if you go out for at least two hours you might get half a pillow sack of candy. One really good place to go looking for good candy on Halloween are the homes in East Highland. One cool thing about going trick-or-treating in East Highland is that there fewer people there compared to other places such as Olive Avenue. If you live in a small neighborhood with families that have small kids you are living on a goldmine for Halloween candy. Usually people in these types of neighborhoods leave out bowls of candy with signs that just say “Take as much as you want.” I’m telling you, you don’t want to miss out on any extra pieces of candy on Halloween. If you’re considering going out this Halloween, try going to these areas. You won’t regret it.
