Reading is loved by some and disliked by others. However, I believe that reading a fantasy-adventure book is one of the best activities you can spend your time on. It’s a great way to learn about the world around you and enjoy yourself.

When you’re reading fiction, you can dive into a different world and never come out again (until dinner). Isn’t it amazing that, with books, you can become immersed in a world of magic or history or nature? Everything you ever knew can dissolve around you as soon as your eyes set to the page. You experience a new world, watching as the characters navigate through life, feeling their every emotion, thinking their every thought. Inside a book, your problems have no meaning as your adventure begins!

Not everyone likes to read, but they don’t know what they’re missing out on! Fantasy novels such as Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Land of Stories, and Keeper of the Lost Cities aren’t flat historical texts about Puritan colonial life. They’re stories filled with action, adventure, romance, humor, and much, much, more! In these stories, kids like us get to go on a crazy ride where they learn about magic. They still retain their human aspects with over-the-top sarcasm and real emotions. These characters live in a way that is simply a dream for us, but we get to go along with them as they fight evil wizards, monsters, fairy-tale witches, and ogres. Through books, you can live in your own dreams.

So, ask yourself, how bad could it be? Read a new book. Try reading something new; jump into a new story that takes you on an enchanting adventure!
