Some of you might have noticed that Google has a gray logo today for Memorial Day. It is in memory of all the courageous men and women who died while serving our country in the United States armed forces. If you click on it, it will take you to a page on Memorial Day, and if you scroll down following the knowledge panel, you will see a link to a YouTube video. This is a video of the America Flag, and in the background, you will hear the Taps bugle call, also known as Butterfield’s Lullaby. This is played by the United States Armed Forces at dusk, during flag ceremonies and military funerals. However, it is sometimes played at Girl Scout and Boy Scout meetings and camps. The official military version is played with a single bugle, or trumpet. Another thing to remember is that at 3:00 pm local time, Congress asks that all Americans pause for one minute and remember. Baseball games will stop and Amtrak whistles will sound.
