Spider-Man. An icon comic superhero that originated in August 1962. When Sony released the most recent animated Spider-Man movie, the critics and fans alike loved it. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is available on Netflix, Google Play Movies, Youtube, and Amazon Prime Video.

This movie is rated PG.

Bitten by a radioactive spider in the subway, Brooklyn teenager Miles Morales suddenly develops mysterious powers that transform him into the one and only Spider-Man. When he meets Peter Parker, he soon realizes that there are many others who share his special, high-flying talents. Miles must now use his newfound skills to battle the evil Kingpin, a hulking madman who can open portals to other universes and pull different versions of Spider-Man into our world. (This is information is from the Google page on the movie when you search up: Spider-Man Into The Spider-Verse.)

On the scale that I usually use for M.O.T.M., I would definitely rate this movie a solid 10. Being a huge Spider-Man nerd since I was 8, I was flabbergasted when I first saw the movie at the cinema. I recognized the characters, but it was like Sony added this magic touch that gave the movie a sense of originality. Even though the idea of the Spider-Man multiverses is not a new thing for Marvel, countless Spider-Man comics and shows have played on this idea, but I think this movie has done it the best.

Author’s Note: For May’s M.O.T.M., I would like to hear your recommendation in the comments. I will watch and review three of the most interesting quality.
