The California Association of School Transportation Officials or CASTO is hosting a poster contest. Student K through 8 can participate and there will be prizes given to the winner. The prize is an award from the local Chapter of $100 and  $100 for a class pizza party. Also if the winner moves on to the State level they will win a $150 award, $100 for a class pizza party, and will be invited to the State Conference in Sacramento with travel expenses paid for the winner a parents. Finally, the State winner will be entered into the National competition with the National Association of Pupil Transportation (NAPT).The theme for the poster is “Can’t Touch This – The Danger Zone!”  The poster size has to be 11″ x 17″ or 12″ x 18″. All of the lettering need to be freehand-drawn letters and there is no limitation on the use of number of colors and the type of media. There are 4 divisions: division 1 is grades K-3, division 2 is grades 4 – 6, division 3 is grades is 7 – 8, and division 4 is special education K – 8. The deadline for the poster is January 2nd, 2020. Get drawing Cope Eagles!
