The PSAT is going to be held on Wednesday, October 16. The PSAT is a preliminary exam on paper, made to prepare students for the SAT in high school. The PSAT stands for Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test. All seventh and eighth graders have the option of taking the exam, and it will be held in one’s homeroom class (period one class). The test is given for middle school students to identify their strengths and make SAT plans. Also, backpacks will not need to be brought to school on Wednesday, for the test will go on all day. However, a handheld calculator and pencil are recommended for the test. If you don’t have one of these things, teachers will provide the necessary items.
Please note that none of the above apply for sixth grade Cope Eagles. Finally, a tip, Khan Academy is a great website to use to study for the PSAT.
