Believe Walk

Margo M., Staff Writer

Last Sunday was the Believe Walk, a 5K walk through Redlands. A massive crowd turned up to participate, with over 10,000 people taking part. The cost of participating goes to local charities that deal with cancer. Many people who didn’t walk came to cheer on the participants. Many high school cheer and sports teams showed up to motivate participants, along with many local music groups, cheer squads, and community organizations. Down at the Redlands Bowl and in front of the A. K. Library, people set up booths to give the runners snacks and promotional items.
