Getting Into That School Mindset

It’s that time of the year again; studying, homework, and tests galore. That isn’t all school’s about, though. Spending time with friends at lunch and in class makes it worth it, too, as long as you aren’t only messing around. Life’s about balance, though, so here are a few tips on how get your work done while also having fun:

  1. Write everything down. Unfinished classwork, homework, projects; agendas are there for a reason, people. By writing things down the second they’re assigned, you won’t have to worry about forgetting it later.
  2. Get enough sleep. Sleeping is definitely not overrated, and you won’t regret having 8-9 hours to rest. School can be draining at times, so the best way to prepare yourself  for the day is by getting the recommended amount of sleep. If you have homework due the next day, go to bed anyway and wake up as early as you need the next day to finish it.
  3. Savor your weekends. For those of you who have weekend homework, get that done first. Then, book your weekend with friends. Hanging out with them outside of school can be just as refreshing as that sleep.

These tips will hopefully help you start the year off right.
