As the eighth graders enter the new semester, the main focus in their English and social studies classes is the Holocaust. Teachers aim to enrich the knowledge of their eighth grade students by presenting various learning opportunities to them. This year, students are lucky enough to be able to attend a field trip to the Museum of Tolerance in Los Angeles. On this trip, 200 eighth graders will have a hands-on experience of the events during WW2 and the Holocaust. The flyer/permission slip is to be filled out and returned to Mr. Cartmill in room H-23 no later than Friday January 11th, 2019 at second lunch. Along with this permission slip, there should be a $40 donation. Other requirements include that the student must not have discipline incidents from October 2018 to the date of the trip or any U’s in citizenship on their first report card. Since only 200 students will be able to attend, this will be a first-come-first-served trip. If you are in eighth grade, please consider being a part of this unique experience.
