Everyone who has been in Southern California over the summer and fall has known the heat of our area is not the most enjoyable. From wildfires to droughts, we are forced to bear natural disaster after natural disaster, with the latest being the Woolsey fire, which has burned over 100,000 acres and caused over 90,000 evacuations so far. We had been in a long-lasting drought, and only just emerged from it. So why do people like to live in Southern California? One guess-the (very little) amount of time when the area is worth living in.
