Philippines Landslide

Julia T., Staff Writer

Three days ago in the central Philippines, on September 17, a tragic landslide left many dead. Families have lined up to find their loved ones and together they counted at least 15 dead and more than 20 houses were buried by the landslide. This occurred after the Philippines were hit with a typhoon called Ompong. Fortunately, the people in Naga evacuated before this typhoon hit but the people on the outskirts of Naga were hurt by the typhoon. People around the world are contributing by giving supplies to the unfortunate lives of the people of the Philippines. We are all hoping for Naga and the Philippines for a fast recovery.
