A much debated topic in almost all classrooms is whether or not Wikipedia is a good source of information. There are many sides to this argument and most can be easily understood, for various reasons. The most obvious, as well as the most controversial, topic against the use of Wikipedia is that everyone can edit the articles. Of course, there are some trustworthy people out there, however, others are less so. Those people might think it funny to change a name of a town to something less appropriate, and even if it is somewhat amusing it does not exactly help students looking for reliable facts. On the other hand, there are many, many articles that Wikipedia provides so some may remain untouched. Nevertheless, Wikipedia will most likely always be on the blacklist of sites for information, no matter the arguments.
