On  the first week of spring break 2018 Mr. Walker took eighth grade students to Washington DC, New York City, Gettysburg, and Philadelphia. The trip was filled with fun activities for the students to do. Cope students also went with Beaty Middle School students.  During the trip students learned about the Civil war and other important parts of U.S. History. The students also explored New York City. In New York City the students went to Times Square, and they had free time. Overall, this trip was fun for the eighth graders, and for all the seventh graders, there will be a chance for you to go next spring break.
