“It’s time for Dodger baseball.” That’s how Vin Scully usually starts the dodger baseball games. For sixty-seven years he has been broadcasting the Dodger games.  His full name is Vincent Edward Scully, but he goes by Vin Scully.  He had also broadcasted for the Dodgers when they were in Brooklyn. Vin Scully first started in 1950 at the age of twenty-two with the legendary Red Barber. Vin Scully was born on November 29, 1927 in the Bronx in Washington. As a child, he had took up menial jobs and listened to the football broadcast on the radio and became inspired to become a sports broadcaster. Who knew that his dream would come true? Many are sad that the hall of fame broadcaster will retire. Vin Scully will be remembered for years to come. Vin Scully (1950-2016).
