Mr. Walker Finds Family at the Safari Park


On Thursday, October 6th, selected students from Mr. Fitzpatrick and Mr. Walker’s science classes went on an educational field trip to the San Diego Safari Park.  Besides observing African and Asian animals in their natural habitats, the students also attending on class on animal conservation.  One highlight was the Cheetah Run where the students got to watch a two male cheetahs, who are brothers, run between 60 and 70 miles per hour.  Mr. Walker’s favorite exhibit was the gorillas.  He says, “It warms my heart being able to see my people in person!”
